Members of Trust staff are available to give talks to community groups, archaeological and historical societies or other interested organisations. We do not charge a fee, although we do welcome any contribution towards expenses.
Trust staff can give lectures and talks on recent works as well as regional overviews and archaeological practice.
The Trust has designed a series of historic walks to illustrate the rich and diverse heritage of Southeast Wales. These are often undertaken as part of regional Walking Festivals and for the Festival of British Archaeology.
All the walks are led by experienced and qualified staff with most walks been suitable for all ages. Lace up your walking boots and step out for a fun and fact packed walk
We are involved in a wide range of events across Southeast Wales. If you would like to set up an event in your community or want to find out about the events we are attending this year see our calender page or contact us.
We also provide archaeological workshops that help explain some of the processes of archaeology and to are supported by practical experience. All our workshops have been designed to provoke peoples curiosity about the past and show how the things that archaeologists discover can provide vital clues about what life was like 2,000 or even 20,000 years ago.
