Heston Brake tomb, Portskewett
Heston Brake tomb, near Portskewett, was excavated in 1888. It had two connected chambers. The west chamber, which is horseshoe-shaped contained part of a human skull and other fragments of bone. Human teeth and finger bones, bones of an ox, and two smooth round stones were discovered in the east chamber. Now only three stones remain.
The second picture shoes the remains of the horseshoe-shaped west chamber.
