Cadw Report Archive
The end product of archaeological investigation or research is a published account and ordered archive of records made that is deposited in a receiving institution (such as a museum or records office).
For many minor investigations only a summary account will be widely published but for other purposes a more detailed account will have been produced. An outcome of the project work that the Trust carries out for Cadw is a bound technical report deposited with the funder, the originator, the National Monuments Record for Wales, the regional Historic Environment Record and where appropriate a landowner or local authority.
Over time it is the intention of the Trust to put copies of these reports in this section of the website so that this underlying information about investigations into the archaeological heritage of southeast Wales can be more easily accessible.
